At HeyPenny, safeguarding the anonymity, privacy, and the security of your data is a top priority. Here’s how we ensure that your information is protected.

  • Differing control of access depending on user type

  • Leaders are the only ones to see team or individual specific insights

  • Organisation dashboard only becomes available once a sufficient amount of data is captured

  • Insights are anonymised to preserve the privacy of the employee

  • No qualitative (insights) data can be exported from the platform

  • AWS data storage within a private instance that’s equipped with robust security controls such as multi-factor authentication and least privilege administration access

  • Users and customers have the ‘Right to Dispose’ of their data at any time

  • Employees have visibility over their insights captured to ensure transparency

  • As part of your agreement with HeyPenny, the team will not access any data without explicit approval from your organisation

In addition to this, leaders are trained to enter insights anonymously by removing names and use they/them pronouns for everyone regardless of gender or identity. If anything does slip through, the platform has further software to remove personal identifiable information.
